Levies leading in the big school school districts — Despite stiff opposition, school levies in the Spokane, Mead,  Central Valley and West Valley school districts are passing (not so lucky: Riverside) (SR)  

Three charged in Sandpoint shooting — A husband and wife and a third suspect have been charged with the killing of 19-year-old Michael Wyatt Smith in September. (Bonner County Daily Bee)
