Brews on Washington Closing

Posted By on Thu, Jul 26, 2012 at 9:34 AM

Brews on Washington, a Downtown destination for anybody longing for a cup of coffee to get them through the day or a beer in the evening, is closing shop on Saturday, July 28.

On the Brews' Facebook page yesterday was a sincere post written by co-owner Brett Anderson. In it, he expressed how great of a journey he encountered during the shop's 13 month run and how saddened it is that "all great rides come to an end." At the end of his statement, Anderson asked his loyal patrons to "Come and help us enjoy the last few days of Brews on Washington."

From now until its last day, draft beer will cost $3 per pint, bottled beer will be $2 off,  glasses of wine will be $5, and bottles will be $18.

It's lowered prices don't make the end of this beloved spot any easier. Manager Carly Demers summed up the feelings of her staff as well as the customers who enjoyed Brews on Washington - "We'll miss everybody."
