"A person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or
feelings." My stated belief: That actions, not tattoos determine character.
Did I stand by that? Absolutely. Did I back it up with a good example of
what tattooed and modified people are capable of? Absolutely. Was I rude?
Absolutely. Was I rude because my tattoos make me a bad person? Absolutely
not. I was rude, because I have to deal with people like you constantly.
You actually proved my point. My actions define me. The good and the bad.
Not my tattoos or piercings, not my clothes or my hair color. Not my age,
gender or socio economic status, my actions. I don't regret standing up for
myself. I have to do it every day. That was a choice I made when I got all
of my tattoos. Maybe I didn't go about it in the best way, but I will
continue to fight against small minded people like you that try to put
people like me in a box. Saying that someone is bad because they have
tattoos is no different than discriminating agains someone because they
have red hair or like country music or anything else that might be
different from you.

I was a volunteer working at the Plantes Ferry Soccer field on Friday,
August 10 and Friday, August 17 taking donations for parking. To all of you
people who drove by and didn't even smile or wave shame on you! What kind
of example are you setting for your children? All you had to do was slow
down, smile and maybe say "not today" and we would have smiled back and
waved you on. I know that you spend a lot of money on your kid's soccer
activities but, that doesn't give you the right to be rude to people. To
those of you who donated for parking, Thank You.

A big ol jeers to the close minded people of this town, county, state, and
country. We are all of the same creed and yes, ideals will differ, but does
that give one person or another the endowed right to cast shame or
disapproval on others? People should try putting themselves in others
shoes, and actually treating others how they themselves would like to be
treated. There's too much hate, ignorance, and plain stupidity running a
mock and infecting people like a virus. Violence only breeds violence, and
one sided narrow minded thinking will not improve our situation as a
country. We need to band together to overcome, not divide because we can't
agree. I just don't understand why some people go so far out of their way
to alienate or persecute others who they've never even meet. There will
never be peace on this earth until we learn to get along with others and
stop being prideful heathens. Try to see the other side of the fence before
you set your views in concrete. Everybody knows you get a lot further with
sugar over vinegar, all I'm saying.

There's a high chance that I am wrong here, but just in case you are the
woman I think you are, (I apologize ahead of time if this is a man) and
this is addressed to who I think it is, it's time for you to move on. You
two had your history and you ended that when you broke his heart. You
continued to torture him for the next 2, almost 3 years trying to "stay
friends" and then continue to sweet talk as if you didn't know he had a
girlfriend. Let's straighten this out. Just because we live in the same
neighborhood, and you see him (sometimes with me, sometimes by himself)
walking/riding past your house, doesn't mean he wants you to chase him. If
he still wanted to be under your charm, he wouldn't be where he is now
(hence the lack of effort on his part). Between us girls, I know this is
harsh, and I don't want to hurt you. I only wish you'd end your own
suffering. He still cares about you, as a human being; as a compassionate
person should for all sentient beings. Please do not misinterpret this as a
second chance for you to 'steal' him back. It only means he wishes you the
best in life, a life without him. Despite what you have tried in the past,
I also wish you the best in life and care for you as a human being even
though I have never met you and I have only heard negative things about
you. Someday you will find a good man to love you and care for your son,
but understand that man will not be him. Your ex has his own life to live.
Now, you continue to "walk that way", and he will continue to walk wherever
he chooses to walk. If we happen to meet in the meantime, we will keep
civil and continue to walk our own paths. "Namaste" From: New Girlfriend of
2010 To: Ex Girlfriend of 2009 "Namaste"

I saw you 2 years ago sitting in that dorm room playing video games. You:
tall, dark, and handsome. Me: Birthday Girl, blonde, and happy to see you.
We first met and I immediately felt the sparks fly. Let's recreate our
first date back at Didiers.

To the idiot who wrote re: Hit and Run. Before you babble about "Street
Cats", you should find out more about them. They are the cats that were so
cute as kittens that those "nice people", abandoned after they grew up,
either by stopping caring for them or moving and leaving them behind. In
effect they are "Homeless Cats". However you probably feel the same way
about homeless people as you do homeless cats. Most homeless cats remain in
the neighborhood where they were abandoned. They do not "roam for miles".
They still have faith that their "family" will come back for them. They are
just looking for a meal. Two of those homeless cats that I feed have
collars. One of them is a black and white cat with a collar with a blue
tag, on one side of the tag is his name "Sport", on the other side is a
phone number, which turned out to be a disconnected Verizon number, which
indicates the owners just walked away from the cat. The other cat is to
scared to let me get close to him. If you don't believe that people will
deliberately run over stray cats and other animals just read "Really Why",
in the Aug 9-15 2012 Inlander. These are the same kind of people who
deliberately abandoned them in the first place. My point being that people
need to accept responsibility for their actions, whether it is getting
a "cute little kitten", or looking out for them when they drive. As for
your conscience, I hope it bothers you for life.

I've had for 29 years. Even with a 14 year break in our connection you were
one of my nearest and dearest friends. You reached out to me when you
needed help. I was right there for you. You were sober and doing so well.
You were dealing with amazingly cruel drama. You made it through all of
that with me right by your side supporting you every step of the way. You
had a place, were free to do as you pleased. My only boundaries no other
women in my home and don't drink. You put me through all your drama. Then
when life was easy for you, you fell off the wagon after 5 years and blame
me! No one takes your sobriety. I didn't give you booze, when you come
around and all your booze friends are gone 'cause you're no fun anymore. I
hope your two years of probation helps you get back on track. Your friend
is still wishing you only happiness. Take care

Utter disgust, neigh contempt, to my fellow disc golfers who insist on
tossing their empties into the woods at HighBridge and DownRiver. Our sport
was invented by some of the original movers and shakers of the no trash
movement. They would have complete hatred for what you're doing to our
courses and so do I! Our local disc golf organizers are doing a good job of
giving us more and better courses and all you're doing is demonstrating to
the public that we're lazy slobs who don't care about keeping the parks
clean and aren't willing to share them with anyone else. I suggest you give
up golfing and take up picnic table stacking, or better still, stay home
and litter your own living room instead. If the Parks Dept. chose to shut
our courses down, I can't honestly say I'd disagree with their decision
right now! Double Jeers to the drinker (drinkers?) of Rolling Rock Extra
Pale. You know who you are, and I assume there's a good chance you know how
to read. I followed your trail of cans - nice and clean, so very freshly
tossed - around HighBridge this morning (Sunday), doing the right thing by
picking them up and disposing of them properly. More often than not, there
was a trash can just a few yards away and never was there one more than a
single hole away! If I could find out who you are, I'd recommend your
banishment from all the Spokane area courses. I suggest you Google the
phrase "pack it in, pack it out" and "give a hoot, don't pollute." For the
most part, disc golfers are some of the best people you'd ever care to
meet! Let's all try to set a great example to others for our great sport.

For taking until I'm almost 30 to find what I should be doing with my life.
For working for the man, enjoying my job, but hating my employer. For
breaking 2 hearts at the same time because it was the less easy, but the
right (I hope) choice; For giving a damn about a spider or flies life. For
not seeing mine and your own God-given right to choose for something
better. For drinking too many beers because I could. For not trying hard
enough at everything or anything. For not seeking in myself the qualities I
seek in my friends, lovers, and mates. To You (World): You have a choice. I
chose and have changed. Thanks Einstein, life, movie references, Pandora,
and an "office space" philosophy and above all just in general living the
motto "Life is too short for B.S."
