Schweitzer extends ski season

Posted By on Fri, Apr 5, 2013 at 12:58 PM

If you’re dreading the end of ski season, then rest easy, at least for one more week. Schweitzer Mountain Resort is extending its season until Sunday, April 14.

“This year conditions came together perfectly for us to operate for an additional week,” says Schweitzer President and CEO Tom Chasse in a press release. “We’re thrilled to offer this extended season to our guests.”

A combination of good snow and favorable weather is allowing the extended season.

Due to some wet weather today, however, some events were postponed or canceled for Tropical Daze, Schweitzer’s annual spring celebration. A variety of family-friendly activities are still happening today and Sunday, so check the updated schedule here.
