MORNING BRIEFING: Those Pesky Spokane Kids

Posted By on Mon, Apr 8, 2013 at 10:04 AM

HERE

Downtown Spokane business owners install a device that keeps those damn kids off their lawn sidewalk. (S-R)

Another day, another stand-off in Spokane. (KXLY)

And....Earthquakes! Freak snowstorms! Murderous pit bull and pot operations!

THERE

Margaret Thatcher, rider of tanks, Prime Minister of the UK, dead at 87. (BBC)

Annette Funicello, Mouseketeer, dead at 70. (USA Today)

The NCAA tournament championship game is tonight, and sadly, Gonzaga is not playing. It's Louisville and Michigan going at it for the title. (ESPN)

And on a completely unrelated note, The Inlander is launching the Suds and Cinema series at the Bing Crosby Theater on April 24 with a screening of the legendary 1980s film Teen Wolf. It's probably the best movie you'll ever see and you get to drink River City Brewing's beer for only $3. Win-win.

Need more convincing? Uh. this should do the trick.
