MORNING BRIEFING: Deputy fired for sex on the job, and new details emerge about the NSA's breach of privacy

A Spokane County sheriff's deputy has been fired for having sex while on duty. (S-R)

A 5-year-old Spokane boy was found dead in the trunk of a car after he was missing for most of the day on Wednesday. The death is under investigation, but at this time is believed to be an accident. (KREM)

In a move similar to one announced by WSU earlier this week, the University of Idaho says it plans to crack down on underage and binge drinking on campus. (KXLY)
