You made it to the weekend! Give yourself a quiet round of applause and prepare to celebrate by enjoying one of the many opportunities present in our event listings and Staff Picks

As I look around, here are the highlights I see for Friday, March 13:

FOOD & DRINK | Who doesn't love an excuse to have a party? And an anniversary is one fine excuse. This weekend, Perry Street Brewing is celebrating their first, with a bash Friday starting at 4 pm and continuing Saturday, all day starting at noon. There will be tunes, food trucks and so much tasty beer that you won't know what to do with yourself. Relive the opening with our story from last year, then go check it out!

THEATER | The Bing hosts another in its series of Broadway musicals this weekend with Company, delivered by the folks at the Modern Theater and telling the story of a 35-year-old man who considers himself the "last single friend" as his (married) friends gather to celebrate his birthday. Company also plays on Saturday.

VISUAL ARTS | The Steam Plant is hosting "A" is for ART! Friday at 5 pm, an exhibition by students at the East Farms STEAM Magnet School featuring a variety of media.
