Warrant Fest 2016, squash your warrants no questions asked

Posted By on Wed, Jun 1, 2016 at 11:24 AM

Got warrants? Get 'em taken care of at three locations throughout the city.

Anyone who has warrants with the City of Spokane Municipal Court is invited to get a warrant recall June 9 during Warrant Fest 2016. Locations and times below:

• House of Charity (32 W. Pacific) from 9 am to 11 am

• The Intermodal Center (221 W. First) from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm

• The Spokane Transit Plaza (701 W. Riverside) from 2 pm to 4 pm

"It's totally free, and doesn't cost anything, but it does save the city money on police resources, booking fees, transporting and jail time," says Brenda Corbett, Spokane community court clerk. "We just recall the warrant, reset the court date and say 'good luck to you.' No one gets in trouble."

Again, this event is only for people who have warrants with Spokane Municipal Court. That means if you have felony warrants, which go through Spokane Superior Court, or warrants for crimes committed outside of city limits, this event isn't for you.

Can't make it out June 9th? You can always go to the Public Safety Building (1100 W. Mallon) and request a judge recall your warrants.
