Dog Park Low Life

Posted on Sat, Jan 7, 2012 at 8:31 AM

On 12/17/2011 we brought our Pit Bull to the dog park for play and
socialization. You, on the other hand, decided to rename it “High Bridge
Dog Park for People Who Want to Show Off Their Tough and Aggressive Dog.”
While watching our dog play with sticks and run with other dogs, we noticed
that, at anytime, based on your aggressive/competitive type activities: a
dog fight would ensue. Eventually your actions led to a grossly induced,
irresponsible and sickening dog fight between your dog and someone else’s
dog (in your group). You even had to kick one of them in the stomach to
break it up. What did you think would happen? You were going out of your
way to make them aggressive. Although amusing to you and your cohorts, the
rest of us that enjoy the efforts of SPOKANIMAL were disgusted by what we,
our dogs, and more importantly your dogs were subjected to. While you read
this Jeers, it may be easy to peg us as “uppity” dog owners. Keep in mind
we do not condone this behavior with our small 5 lb dog OR for that matter
our Pit Bull, or any breed of dog. It’s just not fair to the animals that
attend the dog park for good and clean fun. You really need to learn how to
socialize your animals because its owners like you that give bully breed
dogs a bad name. How would you like it if your buddy convinced you to pick
a fight with someone else? Then as you get knocked out; your buddy proceeds
to punch you in the stomach? That's how your dog feels.
