A Caring Stranger

Posted on Sat, Apr 28, 2012 at 8:23 AM

I would like that thank the young guy who stepped in between a loose Great
Dane dog and me and my dogs last week while we were enjoying our walk. The
dog came charging after us barking and growling and you stepped in and made
him run back home. I was so scared and so were my dogs. I was shaking and
almost crying. I know that dog would have attacked us had you not been
there. Not only did the dog run back home, but you stood in the middle of
the road until we were all the way on the next block to make sure I was ok
and that he didn't come after me again. You were standing outside a house
talking with another guy. After getting home I told my husband what happend
we were both very thankful it didn't turn out differently. We were happy
everyone was safe. We went back to see if you were there to thank you again
and you were gone. I've driven by since and have not seen you. I think you
may have been driving a silver Honda. Thank you again for being so nice.
The world needs more caring people like you.

Entitlement

Posted on Sat, Apr 28, 2012 at 8:23 AM

Regarding EBT - NO! Buying Go-Gurts with food stamps is NOT okay! Just do
the math, it's a ripoff! I'm not on welfare and my children don't eat that
garbage! You're not entitled to all these luxury foods just because you're
poor. You should feed your kids something better than that. Pepsi? Really?
That's also a luxury item that you shouldn't be entitled to because you
have EBT. EBT is so you can feed your children in the healthiest way with
what you're given. Not garbage! I have stood in 7-11 lines where people are
buying donuts, soda, and chips with my hard-earned money. So, I will get my
panties in a bunch because I have to work so I can pay for
your "entitlement".

Trashed Campus

Posted on Sat, Apr 28, 2012 at 8:23 AM

We live a block away and take our nightly walk through the SFCC Campus. Can
anyone there see? There is garbage everywhere. There is trash on the ground
2 feet away from the numerous garbage cans around campus. I thought people
learned about littering when they were in Elementary School. You people are
in college, wow. I'd be ashamed.

Car Burglar

Jeers to the individuals that stole my box of tools from my truck April
14th. Those tools are my sole means of supporting my family and no,
insurance will not cover them. Cheers to the members of my church that
stepped up to help me out in my time of need. I am indeed blessed and I
have forgiven, but, next time would you at least take the whole drill set
and not leave me with a driver and no charger. It costs more to replace a
battery and charger than it does to buy a new set

Bravo

Cheers to the excellent human beings who painted over the nasty "gangsta
wannabe's" graffiti.
It was next to the Centennial Trail where it passes under Trent. Bravo,
you beat me to it!

Dream Catcher

Posted on Sat, Apr 28, 2012 at 8:23 AM

For the last 10 months, you have been the reason why I wake up, why I take
time to put make-up on even though you don't care either way. You have been
here every waking moment at this house. Now I have to sleep alone, wake up
alone, and sit in this house alone. I don't want to go anywhere, I don't
want to do anything because anything I ever did was with you. And when I do
get to sleep at night, the nightmares are back again. I have lost my dream
catcher who made all the bad disappear. I just want to hear your voice and
know you are ok. You tell me not to worry, but it's the only thing on my
mind anymore. I love you with every little part of me and you will always
be in my heart B. Love always, Kat

Friendship

I want to thank the couple (they know who they are) who are always there
when my husband and I need to have some extra yard work done. This couple
makes it so we can continue to stay in our house in the country and we
greatly appreciate all they do for us. They are also great friends.

Don't Stop Believing

To the woman in my life who is constantly trying to get away from me. Sorry
for the love I have for you that causes you to feel so much pain. It was my
mistake that caused this whole issue and I know that I need to take
responsibility for my actions. However, you are the one who will determine
what the consequences of my actions are. Please don't look at me "that way"
so that it will constantly torture your soul whenever you see me. Our
daughters need us to be strong and not to give up on each other. In doesn't
have to end like this, but I am very afraid that it will end with the "D".
Please consider going with me to get some help for us. Don't throw away
something before you know what you have.

You were my loyal companion for almost 10 years. You were not just a dog,
you were family and my best friend. I lost you to cancer a little over a
week ago and I still miss you terribly. Thank you for all the memories I
carry in my heart. You're gone but never forgotten.
