I totally love and appreciate/respect the job the Spokane Police do, and
completely understand them wanting to be off their shift before the next
call comes in. My uncle was a police officer for over 30 years. Trust me, I
get it. However, I live pretty much on the corner of Gardner/Maple on the
East side, and the speed in which that corner is usually whipped around
during/about main shift changes are (at least in the last year I've been
here), frankly, dangerous. I as a civilian I am pretty sure would get an
infraction if I were to do the same thing. Bear in mind; this is not done
in any way strictly by the police. Many people do it. I would like to see
it stopped as a whole; I cross the street often to visit my older neighbor,
and always dart, even if the street is clear. Just some conscientiousness
and brakes, for three seconds. For the sake of people and kids and cats.
That's all I ask. Please? And thank you (really, thanks).

What Happened?

Posted on Sat, Dec 29, 2012 at 8:23 AM

Star Wars Tattooed Buffoon. You know who you are! You were once such a cool
guy and good friend. What happened to you? From the love of ICP music to
the star wars storm trooper tattoo, you're now just an idiot. To top it all
off you're a jerk too. I came to your work to try to talk to you and was
mocked and ridiculed by you and your cronies. It breaks my heart to see you
become suck a jerk. We used to have so much together. Now no more. No more
long walks. No more lunches at Panda. No more driving around listening to
our music. Now all you have time for is being a buffoon.

To the person that wrote a Jeer back to me in the last Inlander and assumed
I was both female and homosexual, I'm actually a straight male. But thanks
for having a preconceived notion about me based on a couple jeers I sent to
a newspaper. And, alas, you have missed the point I was making as well. I
guess you just took what you wanted to from my writing and ignored the
overall point, just like that favorite book of yours.

Are you going to be gone "long time or little time"? I am going to miss our
amazing dance moves, with the occassional dip. I am going to miss our EPIC
high fives! And of course your properly groomed beard in my mouth during
our platonic hugs, and the smell of your man deodorant! In your absence I
will push Fireball shots onto innocent tables, and encourage more Pistol
Whips to the unsuspecting. Have an amazing time in the land Down Under.
Love, lova!

Love

Posted on Sat, Dec 29, 2012 at 8:23 AM

Hello, My name is Nick and I'm an addict. It all started four months ago,
shortly after I met Lola. She said her name was Lola. She convinced me to
try this hip new thing called "Lust". She was pretty, and I was lonely at
the time, after just getting over a bad brake up. So I said ok. It seemed
like a good idea at the time, plus what harm could it do, right? Well, it
did alot of harm. Like most gateway drugs, "lust" lead me to try its even
stranger counter part, "Emotions" and boy did I love "Emotions". Me and
Lola jumped in head first with this one. We'd stay up for hours on in
laughing and smiling while on this fantastic substance. It was great. No
matter what happens in life, I'll always remember those nights. But like
most good things, it was time for this one to end. As much as I
enjoyed "Emotions", I was ready for something a little stronger. A friend
told me about something called "Love". He said it gave you the best high
in the world and that I had to try it. Convinced of his words, I asked Lola
if she wanted to try it one night. She said "sure, why not" but the look in
her eyes said something different. Her eyes said, "yeah, but not with
you". I should of took that as a sign, but as always, I was blinded by her
beauty and could not see the burning building I was about to run into. We
tryed "Love" that night and well, I loved it. And so did she. But only
for a few weeks. Next thing I knew, she didn't want to do it anymore. She
said she wasn't sure if she liked the way it made her feel and that we
should just go back to using "Lust". I told her that when it comes to
you, "Lust' does not do the trick for me anymore. She said "sorry, but it's
that or nothing." I asked if we could at least use "Emotions?" Her long
blank stare give me her answer. Right then I knew it was over. I knew we
would never share that kind of high together again. And yes, that makes me
very sad. In fact, if I was any less of a man I would cry at the thought
of never getting that high with her again. Or her sharing that high with
someone else. I still see her from time to time. We hang out about once or
twice a week. Sometimes we use "Lust", sometimes we won't, but it's good
seeing her none the less. The craving for "love" kicks in every once and a
while. But I'm learning to fight that craving. 'Ive even thought of
using "Love" with some other girls too. But If I can't use it with her,
I'm not sure I really want to use it at all. I'm crazy about that girl.
Crazy about her mind, her body, everything, so much, that I'm sitting here
telling you this story.

RE: Learn To Park

Cheers to you. You are obviously quite intelligent and well bred. How dare
these commoners not acquiesce to your far superior presence. You are
correct in your original jeers, the specifics are besides the point. Are
you expected to sincerely apologize to this peasant in a public forum as if
you are impeding her ability to breed? Clearly your child of class is
entitled. These people must realize society is not managed by the hormonal
whims and opinions of laborers but by the iron fisted rule of well bred
men, of whom your son, by birth right, is destined to become. Please may
you continue to have the patience needed to articulate so well to these
people their place in the grand order.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We have come so very far in our
relationship over the past years and it is clear to me that my love for you
continues to grow by the minute. I am so fortunate to have you in my life.
Truly, you are my best friend and soulmate and I cannot imagine my life
without you in it. My hope for this next year is to take this relationship
to new heights and new adventures, travels near and far - thus creating an
even deeper and more-connected relationship. That means stepping out of the
box and comfort zone! We'll get there... somehow, some day (sooner than
later I hope). So thank you for your constant love and endearing
friendship. I am so very lucky and proud to have you in my life. Thanks for
all the dances at Slims Y-ki-ki. We must go back there soon. I so love that
zydeco music. I love you, Your Accordian love from Opelousas, LA, the girl
in the little red sports car xxoo

No Trash Here!

Kudos to this year's crop of Highlanders (Shadle Park High) who use my
alley to "secretly" smoke and smooch, not a one of you has left any
half-eaten pizza, choclate milk cartons or fast food wrappers on the ground
(my yard) when you were done with them this year. Thank you! Your
upbringing shows and you certainly are more responsible than the
authorities and students I dealt with last year. Yay you!
