School Fundraising

Posted on Sat, May 25, 2013 at 8:24 AM

Jeers to parents and schools who send children out into the community to
sell things door-to-door to raise money for sports, trips, extracurricular
activities, and such. If the parents cannot afford to, or are unwilling to,
pay for their child's activities, why do they think strangers such as I
would be so inclined to pitch in? What's most irritating is that these
children usually ring my doorbell just as I am fixing or eating dinner.
