Re: “Game of Sounds

It’s been nearly two decades since I played Myst, but I still remember being entranced by the fidelity of the pre-rendered graphics, yet so disheartened by my inability to progress further in the game when I was stumped.

Re: “Float On

Bebop, I think he meant that during his time as a police reporter, he was *sleeping* during his "nocturnal days," thus needed the fan to help drown out noise. I see how it may be unclear. Does that make sense?

Re: “Float On

"Nocturnal days" covering the police? Mike, either you're writing too hard, or the float tank has bestowed upon you a mystical gift of oxymoron.

Re: “Float On

Very cool, but no mention of rates. Help a lazy phonephobic guy out.

Re: “The Hero

Full disclosure. I was a freshman at G-Prep when Michael Gleason, Steve's father was an athlete at my school. He was a spectacular athlete. He loved football, he played baseball. His coach for both was Billy Frazier. Some said he only played baseball to please Frazier. He was a very good football player, a great athlete and a natural baseball player. I was watching a game with M. Gleason on first and Frazier coaching 3rd, Frazier yelled out across the diamond, "go ahead and steal Gleason, just don't get caught!" He stole on the next pitch, it wasn't close. He was drafted by MLB and chose to play football. I believed then and later that both Gleasons should have chosen baseball.
