Re: “Pay to Play

It's extortion plain and simple. I can see the merit of paying ONE ... but all three collect for the same service. The Law has to be changed, it affects small business, local entertainment...frankly, it's RIGGED!

Re: “Fake-News Nightmare

After reading even more "blame game" journalism/commentary from the losing team, I'm compelled to respond to Mr. McGregor's low energy rant....only to see that, these days, there are others that understand the self-delegitimizing of the conventional press.

"Fake news" didn't determine the election...or even contribute to it.

It was bigotry. The bigotry of the conventional press towards conservative leaning, "uneducated" Americans.

That bigotry continues.....and editors like Mr. McGregor will keep championing it's ignorance.

Re: “Hitting the Wall

The persons responsible for hate crimes are the persons who commit them. Explicitly or implicitly blaming hate crimes on Trump turns the issue into a political argument that distracts from the crime and its victim(s), unnecessarily creating controversy. On the other hand, if the goal is to create argument and division, blaming Trump or his "deplorable" supporters is a good strategy.

Re: “I Saw You

Are you for real or just an angel who was sent my way to comfort me on a morning when I longed to have my late son in my life for just a few minutes; for him to give me a sign that he was still with me. I wrote about you in the November 17th issue of the Inlander. You were the one out at Northern Quest Casino on Monday, November 7th, between 7 AM and 9 AM. I havent seen you since. I talked to the Class A Badge security guard you were with that day and told him the story. He couldnt figure out who you might have been or why you were with him. My husband, who is former law enforcement and hears and sees everything, said (when I told him about you), I knew someone was there but I didnt see anyone. So are you for real or an angel that was sent to let me know that everything was all right? Whoever you are, wherever you are, another heartfelt thank you for being there that day with a wonderful, cheerful smile and for being my angel.

Re: “This Isn't Normal

Paul stated:

"Hillary Clinton lost (she didn't)"

If that were true, Paul, then a great deal of people, far smarter and wiser than you, are wrong.

Perhaps you should read the section of the US Constitution about Presidential elections.

Apparently, you, Paul Dillon, suffer from Democrat Derangement Syndrome. It's been going around..... It's a common ailment among democrat lemmings, the astoundingly politically ignorant, and low information voters.

Hillary was unfit to be POTUS anyway...watch the hearings in 2017; maybe you will realize this and get over your childish disease.

Grow up.

To the Inlander Editors:

The Inlander keeping columnists around as blindly biased as Dillon is why your Spokane community influence will remain minimal. The Inlander will forever be surprised on election day and not taken seriously as a publication.

Re: “The Yoga of Yes

Thank you! for the informative post. There are many benefits of yoga. The most important among all is that it regulates the women's menstrual cycle. Many women prefer to do yoga during their menstruation with the help of menstrual cups. As these cups are internally worn and women may feel free to perform all other activities. To know more about these cups one can refer at http://www.cupissima.com for additional hints.

Re: “Trumped-up Education

The Union argues against choice based on the false premise that it's bad for public schools. But charter schools and other such choices can be successful at the same time public schools are also successful.

Re: “This Isn't Normal

"Hillary Clinton lost (she didn't)"

Paul, get a grip. Yes, she did lose. Trump won according to rules of the election which we have used since the ratification of the US Constitution. He got 302 electoral votes and she got 232.

You really need to work this out and to still be stuck in the first stage of grief (denial) is just going to make it more painful for you.

Move on...

Re: “Fake-News Nightmare

Funny how a minor captain of liberal media is whining about "fake news".

This is analogous to a kid pleading for mercy from the court after being convicted of killing his parents; "...after all, I'm an orphan, judge".

Re: “Fake-News Nightmare

Unmentioned in this column are the progressive's pet fake news sources that were widely popular in that liberal bubble. We had years of the smug and smarmy John Stewart and Stephen Colbert (and now we have their offspring shows). These shows readily admitted it was fake news and many of their viewers readily admitted these shows were their only source of news. Sure they are satire and comedy but the line was blurred. Remember 'truthiness'?

Unless you are willing to admit that some of the biggest purveyors of fake news were those on the left, just save your bellyaching.

Re: Ryan Humphrey.

Paul is as pro DEMOCRAT and anti-Republican as anyone you will ever meet. Apparently, you're not a frequent reader of his biased, liberal rants in the Inlander.

Re: “In Defense of Refugees

I'm afraid any refugee should be afraid, since as white males third and fourth generation Americans, in our 60s who happen to be gay, are each day braced for making a run for the border.

Re: “Fuel Us Twice?

You can get a permit for most anything, especially when you promise politicians rosy projections. "Regulating" permitted activity under capitalism - the goal of which is endless growth and profit - is another story altogether. Said capitalist high priest Milton Friedman, "The social responsibility of business is profit". Profit. Period. Not a pure aquifer. Not public health. Not corporate responsibilty. No. None of that. Profit. Period.

Re: “Board Games

Oh wow this seems really nice If STAR WARS: X-WING MINIATURES GAME is coming in only $26.50. I Wonder how a game lover could wait to buy new games online if their CD keys are so costly. Well Few days ago I have read in article about few online stores like https://www.instant-gaming.com/en/ and CD keys which offers CD keys at a best deal price..
