Re: “Take a Book, Leave a Book

You just completely missed the point. Anyone can make their own, but if they don't want to, or lack the time or skills, then having an affordable option to buy one gets more little libraries out there.

Re: “Pick Your Own Adventure

Great tips! I backpacking can be an incredibly therapeutic adventure if you have the right mindset. We all need some time to get away from the grind and recharge. www.backpackingthrougheuropeguide.com

Re: “Take a Book, Leave a Book

đź‘ąthese little libraries should be made by the neighborhoods. Selling these ??? You should be ashamed of yourself !!!!!!! Totally using somthing that should be free for profit makes me sick.

Re: “Man vs. Nature

The Lands Council taught effective beaver management back when very few understood it. Now there are cities across the west coast learning how and why to live with beavers. My own city installed a flow device 7 years ago to prevent flooding from a beaver dam. The beavers remained and kept others away with their naturally territorial behaviors, and now because of their expert wetlands we regularly see otter, heron, steelhead and mink in our urban stream.

Any one smarter than a beaver should know how (and why) to co-exist with a beaver.

Re: “Surveillance State

Re: “Surveillance State

You forget Gail was a man 'protecting his life'. Women protecting their bodies are rarely shown the same leniency.

Re: “Surveillance State

Pepper spray the degenerates and smash the phones. A Spokane jury wouldn't convict Gail Gerlach, you'll get a walk, too.

Re: “Expo 40 Years Later

A personal note to Ted McGregor: First of all, congratulations for over twenty years of success with The Inlander. I've been following your articles about post-Expo '74 and possibilities for Riverfront Park. I just want "whoever" to know that Ted is the next King Cole for Spokane. You have the necessary hutspah, savvy and all other ingredients to "go for it!" Thank you for your vision. I wish you the very best and hope the doors will open to make your dreams for Spokane a reality.

Re: “'Trying to Stay Relevant'

It is important to know that AAA regularly lobbies against allowing citizens to choose any other mode of transportation other than the automobile. When you join AAA you are joining an advocacy organization - not just signing up for emergency assistance.

Re: “Nature in the City

I want to move here really bad. It would be cool to be able to take advantage of the landscape. Hopefully I can look at homes soon.

Re: “What's the Point?

How Wonderful!!! I will totally save and send along any copies of Speed that come my way.

As the proud owner of a 55lb, 20 year old Masking Tape Ball, I completely understand the feeling of doing something so pointless and unprofitable that it can only be called ART!

Re: “What's the Point?

One minor correction; to the lines: "Does he think he'll actually get every Speed tape? Not really." Yes. Really. We're going to get them all. We have to.

Re: “'Did You Cry Today?'

I didn't cry yesterday. The Mariners extended their one run lead in the 8th inning against the A's. The starting pitcher was on point and the bullpen was, too. A quality win that put the M's over .500. The M's play a doubleheader against the A's today, so there might be some tears, sensitive, passionate man that I am. Certainly a few beers and numerous hours of television.
