Can you add a landing beach for when I paddle board up the river to your place for a beer and nachos?

Re: “The Tropics of Spokane

Check out Brown Boyz Ohana Eatery in Colville, WA. A little bit of a drive, but it was worth it!

Re: “Food Not Lawns

To whom it may concern,
I live in the Spokane Valley, in an ideal location to Advertise "Food not Lawns", My lawn was destroyed by unwanted house gest, & on SSI a new lawn is out of reach and so is a Garden. So I propose a partnership of land and company. I am willing to share any and all harvest and have a Sign of Advertising for your Company posted. katherinebutler3 at Gmail

Re: “The Next Gen

Peking.....seriously? Authentic Chinese at Peking???? Ok. Different strokes for different folks I suppose. Gordy's is a south hill icon. The food is delicious and there is a reason for that. Fresh ingredients and experienced chef's! I love Gordy's and I am happy to hear the people that have been cooking the food for the last 15 years will be there to stay! You go guys!

Re: “The Next Gen

I have been there couple of times with my Chinese taste buds, being a Chinese growing up in China. I am sorry but not impressed.
Have you seen many Chinese eat there? Not that often at all, right? What does that tell you?
If you really want to try authentic Chinese flavor, go to Peking North on division instead and order from their Chinese menu. Also if you are there on Saturday, you will see a lot of Chinese driving from Pullman to dine here.

Re: “The Climate Menu

I guess this explains why climate concerned druggies eat so many French fries when they are stoned. I wonder? How much carbon does it take to grow, refine and illegally import a kilo of heroin? How much for a kilo of meth or a pound of pot? Maybe we could have a nice article on the carbon footprint of the average into grow operation?

Worried about my steak and so unconcerned about all of the environmental damage from your drug habit. You are just silly. What about the dangers from all of the mercury in your eco light bulbs? No concern at all for all of the petro-chemicals used to make your trendy North Face crap or the slave labor that makes your cheap cotton clothes in a third world country.

There is something about people who are so insistent about regulating and restricting the behavior of others. Why can't they try and control themselves first?

Re: “The Climate Menu

you all have been politicaly programmed to accept pollution as the main cause of global warming. Unfortunately, this is not true.

Re: “The Next Gen of my all time FAVORITE restaurants in the world!!!!!!
Oh alright, if you guys have 25 years experience I guess it will all be OK....ha!
When we come up from Oregon we aim right for Gordy's and LOVE the Lemon Chicken----have never had anything like it anywhere else. Thanks for so carefully keeping a memory alive and congratulations to all 4 of you---retirees and restauranteurs alike!
