Re: “Starting Small

I think the point about tiny"huts" is that the lower cost would mean they can be made available to people who don't have enough income to qualify for a tiny house. I think there's more than enough room for both, especially in a city that currently has exactly *one* resource agency that serves the homeless.

Re: “Starting Small

Tom Robinson needs to live in a tiny hut and donate all his income to the homeless coalition.

Re: “Starting Small

"Tom Robinson, a member of the Spokane Homeless Coalition, says that if a village of anything tiny is going to be built, it should be tiny huts, not tiny houses."

I wonder how tiny of a hut he lives in.

Re: “Stealing Washington

It's amazing how such a promising country can have such promising and prospering options with positive outcomes but a few hundred miles away and it's the exact opposite.

The common factor is addiction, solve the drug problem with possibilities for improvement instead of just locking them away and watch the criminal rating of a lot of crimes drop, rather then just property crimes.

It is also worth noting that the Swapp firm had to tender a very sizable legal malpractice claim a year or two ago to their malpractice insurance carrier. The Swapp firm is what is known among ethical attorneys as a settlement mill. They cannot and will not get appropriate settlements.

Note further - when Craig Swapp started his firm he was not licensed to practice in WA. It was an ethical violation to do this.

Re: “Water fight

You know what else is poisonous? Oxygen, but in low concentrations and mixed with other elements it's called air, and it keeps us alive. I'm neither for nor against fluoridated water. For me, I have lived in areas with and without fluoride in the water. My biggest concern is the financial cost to the city and consumer. But please, enough with the hyperbole. Fluoride is no more a poison than oxygen.

Re: “Chorus of Critics

I've seen these four guys on the campaign trail a few times. They have this schtick where they appear to exit an impossibly small car while wearing baggy suits, floppy shoes, and plastic lapel flowers that squirt water. Very droll.

Re: “Chorus of Critics

Jake and the inlander hate Republican Cathy McMorris Roger ...Check.

Somehow I don't think he would have the same criticism for the been in DC so long they forgot which WA they are supposed to represent Senators. Remember Cantwell the millionaire who ran against Big Money but took it the second she swore in and Murray the Mom in tennis shoes going to DC to change things but ended up being exactly what she ran against ... a pants suit wearing partisan Hack.

Wilson ??? Ya right he will be a moderate for about a second before Pelosi squeezies his boys and he will fall right inline .

The apple and the tree. No respect and no sympathy. This is not a case against "the system."
