Re: “Running Dry

The locals should help out. If they want. It to come back to life they should help financially as well as volunteer their time and energy. I would love to get it going again, find out what the people want..

Re: “Running Dry

I think they should re open it and have it open in the winter as a badass sledding place. That way they could receive income year round.

Re: “Running Dry

Take out the slides, bring in snow machines for the winter, jump builders in the winter, make a loge with a bar, and boom you have a ski/snowboarding park in the winter and a bike park in the summer/spring/fall. Plus the bar would bring in a lot of money. Lets be honest, Idaho brings in thousands of active people and drinkers.

Re: “You Got Frenched!

A druggie in CDA was YET AGAIN robbing and/or stealing from INNOCENT people or businesses and when confronted by security he dropped dead. This is a positive story and good news for citizens of Idaho since they no longer have to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars a year arresting, charging, convicting and jailing this piece of human sewage.

A CRIMINAL ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT, high on drugs and with a history of violent criminal behavior was shit while attacking police and passers-by with deadly missiles. Imagine driving thru an intersection and getting your skull crushed with a grapefruit sized rock hurled by a illegal immigrant, criminal, wife beating thug. Would the Inlander write an article on how wrong it was for you to drive thru the thugs crime scene? or would they celebrate you life?

Singing the praises of criminals,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,cursing working Americans at EVERY turn. Ladies and Gentleman,,,,,,the Inlander.

Re: “Running Dry

Businesses go through cycles just like other things. Competition creates winners and losers.

Re: “Drilling Into the Future

This article makes no sense whatsoever. Someone with a drilling technology (poorly described in this article) proposes using it for deep geothermal drilling. OK. And that can be used to power a rocketship how?

Re: “Care in Crisis

It is standard 'business' practice for healthcare corporations to staff as low as possible and to push job responsibilities down onto employees while talking 'safety' and 'patient satisfaction' all the way to the bank.

Re: “Care in Crisis

The Inland Northwest is having an epidemic of mental illness. Anxiety, depression, suicide. People in crisis come to Sacred Heart. The community doesn't have any idea what this will look like with no Psychiatrists at Sacred Heart.
Solutions? Turn off social media, don't drink alcohol or do drugs, come from pedigree free of mental illness, avoid stress and keep to yourself. Shame on you Providence for letting this happen, while you were wining and dining the CDC for Ebola designation. Shame on you for not treating the Psychiatrists with the values of the Mission Statement. They were caring for the poor old and vulnerable while only asking leadership for respite

Re: “Care in Crisis

I googled "S-R, psychs resign" and nothing comes up about this story. What's going on here. Mental health issues in Eastern Washington have been in the news, with the issues at Eastern State Hospital, and court orders to provide care, not jail. How is it that Spokane's only mental health unit faces the resignation of its entire psych staff and the S-R, and local TV stations are not covering it? Are the newsrooms run by the marketing department?

Re: “Care in Crisis

This has cluster *uck written ALL over it... Going to do alot of prayer now. Twelve days in a row without a day off is inhumane. This is a HIGH stress job if you don't take care of your staff THEY will end up needing mental health care! I'll be watching to see how this turns out.
