Re: “Freeze Frame

Obviously no one bothered to address these issues prior to purchasing the body cameras...other than SPD Major Frank Scalise to an extent who wrote a book about his job researching body cameras for the SPD and documenting his findings after he retired. It makes for an interesting read.

The original plan of course was to purchase dash mounted cameras and work on exemptions to RCW 9.73 while using the dash cams. Spokane would be a lot further ahead if that was done.

First we are going we are going always happens when people that don't know what they are doing are put in charge.

Re: “Unforgiven

This is the worst form of discrimination andslavery of people who can't aford to pay because of our God givin rites as American. Citizens being stripped for drug use. This is dispiccable. My felonies are all non violent. Drugs so I loose gun rites. Wow how does that match up. If u people want to strip my rites as a free American TAX PAYING member of your society then keep me in prison because this LIFE SENTENCE should be over upon your release from prison not based on your ability to pay

Re: “Ante Up

$200 per hour cannot be accurate. Hangers, insurance, certifications, inspections, repairs, maintenance and fuel. $200 is an unobtainable fantasy. Ask any helo pilot.

That is even ignoring the $Quarter Million in upgrades that was spent upon receipt of the first one.

Re: “A New Voice

Sorry to throw cold water on a very nice idea, but the business model has some flaws. First, Spokane County statistics show that only about 2% are black. That is a tiny population to draw readers from. Secondly, this is the age of the internet and there are many black news and social issue websites online. For free.

Unfortunately I do not think the life span of this publication will be too long. Why not just go online with the newsletter? The overhead would be only a fraction of publishing a hard copy.
