Re: “Good Old Charlie Brown

Im looking forward to seeing it being a lifetime Peanuts especially Snoopy fan.
As for Spectre, you were wrong, dead wrong. From the return of the iconic camera eye following Bond across the screen till he turns n fires (which was finally moved back to its rightful place) to the spectacular opening sequence in Mexico City, through a high speed car chase thru Rome to Bond in a beat up airplane chasimg suvs thru Austria. The movie did not disappoint, plot twists which were partially ruined by the internet n i think an excellent choice to play Blofeld the bead of the films title terrorist organization and his henchman played by Batista of WWE fame was a bad ass while showing a certain charm without saying but one line. I do wish they said what S.P.E.C.T.R.E. stands for because i just plain forgot. And of course theres Danial Craig as whoelse, Bond. I think he continues to be the best Bond since Sean Connery with his style, charm, and no nonsense approach with alot more humor than his last 3 films.
I could go on but in short, Spectre delivers and a whole lot of and then some. Being a lifelong fan of not only the movies but reading all of Flemmings novels, just keeps kicking tail, saving the world & getting the like no other character in cinema history. The original, everything else is just second best and a copy. As Carley Simon sang NOBODY DOES IT BETTER. So i raise my vodka martini shaken not stirred to Bond, James Bond after over 50yrs & 6 different portayers is still the standard to which all action heroes are measured. Salude!

Re: “Mountain of a Movie

I applaud Universal/Working Title for breaking new ground and not sticking to the 'Into Thin Air' version of the 1996 Everest tragedy, which is maybe why this book is not in this film's Credits, something that has not gone unnoticed by some professional reviewers.

Universal/the Director referred to Jon Krakauer as 'a writer who just happened to be on the mountain at the time'. To learn more about what actually caused this seminal event you will need to read 'A Day to Die For' and 'After the Wind'. Well done Working Title and Baltasar Kormakur for daring to break the mold!´╗┐

Re: “Matt Damon vs. Outer Space

A couple of years ago, Matt went to outer space to get free health care for all of the dregs on earth. He never explained what happened to the quality of life for those people who had worked hard and spent billions of their own money to create a healthcare system got reimbursed by the dregs for the "free" healthcare.

Now his addle-brained friends leave him on Mars to create a socialist utopia. Why Mars? Probably because it is the only planet left where Obama is seen as a great world leader.

You would be better served spending your eight dollars on an enema.

Re: “Pundit Pioneers

Vidal was a poisonous toad who became increasingly bizarre as he aged. His attacks on Buckley resulted in two successful defamation lawsuits by Buckley against Esquire magazine, which published Vidal's untruthful attacks on Buckley. Vidal's poison wasn't directed just against conservatives. He also feuded with Truman Capote, who despised him with just cause.

Re: “A Hike Becomes a Death March

Two 125y/o actors trying to be cool, seriously? Neither one of them could walk 40' if their lives depended on it. They fart dust and still they will not retire and go away. Do you really want to waste $8.50 to see two guys in Depends shuffle off to Buffalo? I think not.

Phil Ochs was one of the good guys. We need more like him today.

Re: “Subtraction by Ad Dishin'

It should be pointed out that Rusty is aware of the term rim job. He simply acts stupid about it because he feels awkward with his son. That was pretty obvious.

Otherwise I agree that a lot of the gags were expected because of the marketing.

Re: “The Big One

This movie should be called, "California Democrats find a Way to Balance the Budget". Why? Because nothing short of total destruction of their way of life will stop those idiots from overspending and nothing short of total destruction will stop the millions of foreign criminals from moving there illegally.

While this movie was about a disaster of some sort, all I saw was a way to stop those idiots from moving to the Pacific Northwest once and for all. Please, 9.0 earthquake, save me from California socialists and their stupid ideas.

A guy named "The Rock" flying as helicopter,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,best idea since naming a race car driver "Fireball".

Re: “Good Goes Bad

A bunch of billionaire idiots create a computer that wants to destroy the world. Then this collection of jet pack idiots, spandex hoochies and drug altered nerds wages war with their creation as it destroys cities and kills hundreds of thousands of people.

Who will win???? Who frigging cares.

Scarlett Johansson in spandex is the stuff dreams are made of. Seriously, I know what I want for Christmas. To know what the hell she sees in that idiot from "Fast Times at Ridgemont High". She has no taste in men, that gives me a shot.

The rest of the cast may as well have been playing banjos and pulling their own teeth for all I cared.

Waterworld 2: Sans Water

Re: “Desert Rage

Mad Max lives in a post consumer driven world where progressives and socialists have finally destroyed all of the "big corporations" that have ruined everything and they are finally in charge. Gone are houses, clean clothes, good schools and all of the evils of realiable transportation, power, sewer and water.

The world is led by a creepy "Bill Clinton" type who keeps a room of female sex slaves that he rapes and abuses as if they were his proproperty. He rules from the "ivory tower" of his "Clinton Foundation and dispurses welfare and aid to his peasant slaves in about the same percentage as he does in our world. 5-7% of his massive wealth.

The masses adore him and starve, all they own is a bowl to catch their miserable ration of gruel or water and they must beg and sing the praises of their messiah or he will not help them or stop golfing long enough to come to their aid.

Good paying jobs are gone, all that is left is $15 dollar an hour jobs for socialist masters or crime. Theft, car theft, piracy, robbery, rape, murder, assault and hijacking are the norm as they criminal justice system has been destroyed in the interests of "fairness".

The police are gone, disbanded after massive socialist protests every time they arrested another scumbag for his crimes, only to be met with anger from the drunken or drug addicted masses. Gone are shovel ready jobs and not one well maintained road is left. Not a single bridge in utopia.

In the end, the unwashed massesof idiots gain control of the last remaining means of production and celebrate like idiots. They are as always, unskilled, ignorant and unwilling to work for their betterment. There will be no sequel, since they will finish destroying the remains of their world.

Max, the last gainfully employed man, is seen leaving the socialist utopia in his endless search for a place where people are not stupid enough to vote for Hillary Clinton.

Save you money, this movie blows.

Re: “Game of Thrones

Season 5 is my favorite season of Game of Thrones. This series has surpassed my wildest expectations and has given me more joy and sadness than any other series. This season consists of backstabbing, deaths, and twists and turns you'll never see coming. It is sublime, intelligent creative television. Game of thrones may be the best tv show ever created. An honest advice, if you live outside usa, then you need vpn to watch got on hbo.

Re: “Extreme and Compelling

"Keeping it simple proves to be the best way to tackle the complexities inherent in modern Islam. And anyone who sees the West's relationship with the Muslim world in simple black-and-white terms would do well to learn from Timbuktu's lessons."

Summed up- Keeping things simple is best, but don't keep things simple. Nice fence riding. Maybe the author should stick to writing something he know about, like girl bands.

Re: “Kingsman: The Secret Service

Raunchy, vulgar, full of swearing and lots of horrible violence blowing peoples heads off. Even a scene suggesting and leading up to anal intercourse. And it would not be complete without a wife beater scene or two.

No not see this movie if you are a family that cares about morals and ethics.

Disgusting waste of money and time.

Re: “A-Changin'

We were trying to save some money by cutting down on some things. One suggestion from my wife was to stop the Boston Globe. I said NO, because one of my other sources of information was the net and I have trouble weeding out the misinformation I see. I won. We still get it and the first section I go through is the sports.

Re: “Gods Eater Burst

Really? The aragami aren't spirits. Their a collection of cells known as a oracle cell, which bind together to create a whole parts of the aragami. The old types god arc couldn't change from gun to blade, the new type can. So no other npc weapons other than 1 change. I know this is a tad late. Want to write a review play the game pay attention to the story.
