I visited Spokane just last weekend,I was very disappointed to see 12 of the 24 taps at 24 Taps Burgers and brews were nothing special and mostly Anheuser Busch products. I didn't eat any food, but I did enjoy a few locals brews they did have on tap. As for fried chicken Ezells is amazing!! Try it once you will be addicted for life. Whisk is also good, Darin is a great guy.
Happiness is pretty good. Please don't eat there as it's easier to get a table right now.
You can also find lower cost gourmet burgers at Penny's Pit in Rathdrum!

There are people who don't like Zips? They are lying to themselves.
Jealous? Nope. That photo looks like a hot mess.
Zips in Boise closed over a year ago, it was a sad day
Moved to Wenatchee. Whenever family and friends come to visit they know I appreciate a Wrangler.
I always stop by the Zip's in Ritzville on my way to Spokane. Gotta get my Wrangler fix! Sadly, no Zip's in Yakima :(
The zips on the south hill used to be the best in town but over the last few years it's gotten really bad. The one on market is one of the better ones now.
I love the regular cheeseburger with onion. I usually get 2. AND at the Zips in Mead. They always seem to taste extra good there, and I love the toasty buns! Their fries and tater ttots are great too, and the tartar is, of course, outstanding. My hubby likes to put it on his burgers...The Papa Joe being his favorite. Now I want a burger from there! BUT! They're currently closed for remodeling!
Homer Burger in the Cheney Zips!!
Love the Papa Joe. I like to replace the mayo with their tartar sauce and, of course, add fresh onions.
The Bacon Double Cheese Burger is my standard at all Spokane area Zips. although I'll sometimes have a salad burger (which not every restaurant offers). A big plus of the Bacon Double Cheese Burger, and Zips over most other fast food places, is that you don't have to ask them to skip the mayo.
Zips in Kennewick in the 60's was the place to go.......vanilla cokes and hamburgers after midnight on Fridays (the catholic thing). Today's Zips in Spokane are owned by right-wingers......not spending my money there.
Papa Joe is the best burger ever!
Gerardo's on N. Monroe offers incredible "bang-for-the-buck" dining. A Super Burrito ($5.99-$6.99) feeds both me and my husband; throw in the free chips and salsa, and you've had all you can eat.
Rest in peace Chad. You will be missed. You were such a character.
Pizza Pipeline also offers pizza by the slice for lunch. They have some 3 slice and a drink lunch deal too... something like 5 dollars. I'm not sure, I bet their website would have the details though.
