Re: “Actually nevermind, the city council probably won't vote on Craig Meidl's appointment tonight

Whoaaa stop the presses. What do you mean Medl isn't going to be the chief. I saw the mayor make him the chief. I even saw Medls daughter pin a badge on him. Don't tell me it was one of those sticker badges the cops give out. This mayor is a complete disaster. Has he done anything right recently. Worse yet is these guys willing to let the mayor parade them around for his benefit. Just look at the previous two chiefs dubrow and macdivitt. Does any of these chiefs and now Medl have any self respect? I can't believe Medl is willing to drag his family through this circus so he can be the next mayors boy. I actually feel sad for Medl and his family having to explain this mess to their friends and others.

Re: “Spokane deputy's post about Black Lives Matter sparks debate among local law enforcement

Black people commit crimes at a rate 10 times higher than White and Hispanics combined. Throw that statistic in with the statistic that they are killed at a higher rate. Look it up it's true.

Re: “Spokane deputy's post about Black Lives Matter sparks debate among local law enforcement

How fortunate that BLM members aren't "professionals" so they can say whatever they want, act like thugs and get away with advocating murder. Meanwhile a cop expresses his frustration that both the government and society they're protecting seems to be in support of all this hatred and points out something important about BLM yet that's unprofessional? I love how BLM is down playing their lack of an appearance in a real disaster, they only seem to be around to create them. BLM is all about 'the big picture' right up until how full of $h!t they are becomes public, then they back step, play the obfuscation game and try to play it off like they're just about police shootings. They decided to take a stand as a face for the entire black community and it's rights, if they weren't full of it this wouldn't even be an issue, they would have been there to begin with. When they're killing cops it's for their rights and to better their community, but when their community actually needs then, they're just about the cops? Do we have any expectations of anyone anymore or can people just exhale anything and not be held accountable these days?

Re: “CPA David Green explains why he filed recall charges against Mayor David Condon

Anyone else see the irony in the Date Grapist wanting to #RecallCondon based on sexual assault cases in the SPD?

Re: “No, Council President Stuckart should not be deleting important voicemails about city business

Could this be actual grounds for a Stuckart recall?????????

MY guess is, it wouldn't be difficult to gather the 13K valid signatures to eradicate this pest...

Re: “Kate Burke, Sen. Andy Billig's assistant, files to run for Amber Waldref's city council seat next year

"Because "bat shat crazy council President Ben Stuckart" does not conform to our internal style guidelines."

Regardless of the accuracy of the descriptor?

BTW: Why not "Drug Lord Karen Stratton"

Re: “Kate Burke, Sen. Andy Billig's assistant, files to run for Amber Waldref's city council seat next year

Why does the Inlander reference Councilman Fagan as " conservative Councilman Mike Fagan. " and not reference Amber Waldref as "do nothing seat warmer Amber Waldref" or Council President Stuckart as "bat shat crazy council President Ben Stuckart".

Funny how the Inlander calls Spokane City District #1 "the impoverished Hillyard and East Central neighborhoods " when it is part of the 3rd legislative district; the POOREST legislative district in WA for over a generation.

Why the WA 3rd district, which has not elected a REPUBLICAN to the state legislature since before Marcus Ricelli, Andy Billing or Amber Waldref were born, it remains THE POOREST district in the state of WA on their watch.

The DEMOCRATS have run the state for almost all of the last 50 years, yet the people of the 3rd district have yet to figure out, that the Ricellis and Billings they keep voting for election after election have only manged to furhter their own political careers and NOT HELP the people of the 3rd district.

WAKE UP people of the 3rd Legislative and Spokane City district #1, the democrats have failed you.

Electing another one who is the assistant of one of the failures will not fix the problems.

Re: “CPA David Green explains why he filed recall charges against Mayor David Condon

Spot on Frankie, also many forget a very import law Mayor Condon refused to sign this past December: Spokane law erasing some marijuana convictions to go into effect without mayor’s signature see: http://www.spokesman.com/stories/2015/dec/…

Re: “CPA David Green explains why he filed recall charges against Mayor David Condon

And let's not forget that Condon guaranteed Walt Worthy that the city would pay up to TWO MILLION DOLLARS for clean up of contaminated soil under the new Davenport Grand Hotel and did NOT inform the city council.

Re: “CPA David Green explains why he filed recall charges against Mayor David Condon

I am generally a Conservative, but in matters of values -- especially integrity -- I am unrelenting. Condon should be out, and Clinton should be in: Condon OUT of office, and Clinton IN prison.

Romeomoon they dont but it's a effective way to organize and communicate with all those for the #RecallCondon movement so we can keep them updated on where to sign the official forthcoming petition when it becomes available. It's clearly a lot more than what you are doing. ((Nothing))

Jamie clue up. Online petitions have no force of law. Let us know when you pass the bar exam.

Re: “CPA David Green explains why he filed recall charges against Mayor David Condon

We already have a online petition at www.ChangeSpokane.net and stay informed at www.RecallCondon.com www.RecallCondon.net and www.RecallCondon.org. We will keep you informed and updated of locations to sign the formal petition soon as it is approved. We thank David Green for contributing his time and expertise in this matter, being the first person to file a complaint in this matter against Mayor David Condon in November 2015 (only to have it dismissed by his self appointed ethics commission) it is fair to say it's up to all of the citizens to step up. The Condon administration has already shown us all that they will not hold anyone accountable or fire anyone for these actions only continue to hide the acts in a Web of lies. It's up to us to demand accountability from all city officials and employees. It's up to us all to #ChangeSpokane

Re: “Spokane Police grant ombudsman office access to body camera footage

Sure doesn't seem right for the police to want to "hide" this video data that is the property of "We The People." Whoops, I better be careful, they might shoot me now.

Re: “No, Council President Stuckart should not be deleting important voicemails about city business

Based on the way Mayor Condon has been treated, can we expect Mr. Stuckart to be the subject of ethics complaints, investigations, criticism in the press, demands for his resignation and discussions about a recall campaign?

Re: “Spokane Police grant ombudsman office access to body camera footage

When is the last time a Ombudsman involved investigation led to actual discipline of a SPD officer? Until we see actual results and actions... this means nothing.
