Re: “Photos and stories from the front lines of the Dakota pipeline protests

I too was hesitant to just show up, but because I live so close and there was a call for people to come out I went with my horses I too was hesitant to just show up, but because I live so close and there was a call for people to come out I went with my horses and found my place . I can testify to my neighbors as to what's going on and I've given countless rides on my horses .

Re: “Photos and stories from the front lines of the Dakota pipeline protests

I'm offended by the appropriation of White European dress , horse, tents , cars , buses.... ! Should have walked to ND like your ancestors would have had too while avoiding getting killed or taken as slave by other tribes ......

Re: “Condon settles ethics complaint, suicide calls to Spokane police and other news

They should have built a baseball stadium for everyone instead of condos for a few along the river

Re: “Condon strikes deal, avoiding ethics commission hearing over alleged dishonesty

The City already requires mandatory yearly sexual harrassment training and they STILL have City leaders sexually harrassmening employees. I have little faith that this new development will change anything. Condon just avoided a lawsuit.

Re: “CONCERT REVIEW: Bonnie Raitt gives Spokane something to talk about

Unfortunately Allen Stone was directly 2 rows behind me and clapped so loud as to block out the band..He does have good meter, but ruined many songs for all those around him...I thought he was retarded or something.

Re: “WA Supreme Court overrules judge's order for homeless woman to pay $15 monthly fines

Who was the judge. Benton County actually has a record of this. The cost of living is so high in that town I had to move to Spokane just to survive. You can't survive on 750.00 per month in the tri cities. I could hardly survive there even when I was working for Amazon.

Re: “A San Diego polling firm has been testing anti-Recall Condon attacks

Yawn.

What another non story about a non issue......

We still haven't had an accounting of why Ben Stuckart went to Ireland on the tax payers nickel and how that helped the people of the City of Spokane.....

What business does the City of Spokane do with Ireland?????

Re: “Why was Spokane Police Capt. Brad Arleth removed from his big race-data project?

Signs of just how deep the problems are, and will remain unless the right decision is made regarding a new Chief of Police of Police and New Direction for SPD.

Another sad commentary, and likely more to come!

Re: “WSU police investigate graffiti with the N-word and "Trump 2016"

Look at the letter R in the "N" word compare it to the letter R in Trump. They were written by two different people.

Re: “What one member of the Spokane Tribe saw at the ND pipeline protest

The only violence was perpetrated by DAPL Mercenaries. Know that Love Always out Shines Darkness and Greed. It's time we let the oil industry die, its suffering and needs to be put out of its misery. There is more money and jobs to be had in Renewable Resources and Energy. With change comes fear of the unknown so I pray for the people that are still trying to prop up this dying destructive resource, that they open their eyes and see the horror and the filth on their hands and come running to Spirit Camp to wash the horror and filth with the clean water we have saved for them and all beings of this planet.

There are thousands, not hundreds, standing their ground against this pipelines construction.

Re: “Report: Spokane homeless students have the state's highest graduation rate

This is so important. thousands of students are homeless. I suggest all adults and teenagers read TENT CITY PRINCESS. It gives a glimpse into the world of a homeless family.

Re: “With Condon recall rejected handily, recall leader Green says city should move on

Facts: Green put himself out there which is commendable. Had he offered the expenditures from the Seabold report he could have proved charges. The judge did not allow some of the exhibits because they came from media sources. In Sullivan vs West, which set precedent which could have agrued more aggressively. Green had great charges just not enough evidence to back them up. Sadly, same charges cannot be filed again.

Re: “Rep. Matt Shea presents Oregon-standoff figure Bosworth with "2016 Patriot of the Year" award.

In slander that's pretty fitting. You seem to have such a vendetta against these two men for the mere fact that they don't fit in your perfect little leftist politically correct bubble. Spreading lies about two very principled and honorable Men. Why do you get your info from liars like Sheriff Ozzie and Kit Lang. The Harney County incident may have very well ended in a massacre like Waco Texas or Ruby Ridge at the hands of bloodthirsty federal agents had it not been for the actions of representative Shea and Mr. Bosworth actions.

There is always two sides to every store! Glad you hold up to your name as the Inslander! And Ozzie is an Idiot....maybe he should pose for another billboard picture! Or have another town hall meeting to discuss how incompetent he is! You and your paper are tools, used to spread your own agenda and lies! But thanks for writing about my husband, and an AMAZING state rep! We get a good laugh out of your articles!
