And one more thing I would venture to add -- all the things in the BEST program will undoubtedly be helpful and much needed. But sometimes a bed is a bed, and in those situations there is no substitute for a bed for safety reasons. It is extremely difficult for community healthcare workers to find appropriate care when there are just too few beds.

I'm glad you are bringing this to our attention. One thing I might add -- they aren't called "psych wards" anymore. The term is stigmatized and old. A more clinically appropriate term is "psych unit."
