Re: “Cheating Meters

Placard abuse occurs just as frequently in free lots as it does at meters. The main difference between the two is the length one remains parked. In downtown areas shop owners and employee's are typically the long term abusers. They commit fraud to save from feeding the meters or paying to park in a private lot while they are working. Customers commit the same abuse downtown, in big box stores, malls, grocery stores, hospitals, etc but for a shorter time so it's less noticeable.

Getting rid of free parking will fix the long term parking fraud but will do little to fix shorter term parking fraud. So the issue is deeper than just a flow issue.

Re: “'I Do Not Trust Muzlims'

What Mrs. Haskell fails to recall is that she was at a fundraiser for her husband last August, where the hosts were Muslim. and these "Muzlims" spent over $1000 to provide food for a fund-raiser for her husband. Yeah Leslie, it's me. Mrs. Haskell's comments are atrocious and her husband's response is weak-kneed. I expected more from him.

Re: “Between Love and the Law

That wright woman is hiding behind God, and that is horrific considering her "making out " with him. Not to mention, getting a p.o box to keep I'm contact with him even after she was caught. This lady is crazy, she wants people to feel sorry for her. Who really knows whom manipulated who. If this is a sample of the prosecutors, It doesn't scare many from breaking the law. I feel horrible for her husband, where is he in all this divorcing her I hope. The poor girl she adopted and "couldn't handle it" so she gives the kid away. Wow, could you imagine how many kids would be on the streets, in homes, if we gave our children away because they drove us crazy once in a while. I'm sure she will get a job as a criminal attorney she can lie and get away with it, how perfect for her personality. I believe she should not be able to practice at all. She broke so many laws by having relations with this tattooed face criminal. This is the last thing America needs right now, a cheering law enforcement officer. Hopefully she isn't doing her community service in a mans prison.

Bear, please stay there on the Left Coast with your fatherless welfare, homeless, hippie-stoner crowd.

Thank you.

So glad we moved to Seattle in 2013 after living on the South Hill for 15 years. Spokane is beautiful, but there were far too many people with the same ugly heart as Ms Haskell for my liking.

Good luck to those left behind.

Terrible that hatred, such as we see from Mrs Haskell, has found a home in our community- all the more reason we must stay vigilant in our struggle for peace and justice.

Re: “Promise Keepers?

I am fine with the change. I do believe that they believed they were being honest with voters last November.

Re: “'I Do Not Trust Muzlims'

Could this be a case of sour grapes by lefties who wanted Mr. Beggs, formerly of the Center for Justice, to be prosecutor? Could this be an attempt to smear Haskell by association because there's no evidence that he's biased or unfair?

Re: “Promise Keepers?

If you want to ban bare bosoms, does that make you lactose intolerant? Should everybody just calm down and sing"Thanks for the mammaries"? Is anybody involved in this controversy a boob? Do nearly naked baristas get nipples and dimes for tips? I've heard of "tit for tat", but do nearly naked baristas get tips for ... (fill in the blank on your own).

Re: “'I Do Not Trust Muzlims'

This is chilling. I mean, really chilling.

This publication allows a Nazi-like propaganda hit piece on a woman--even goes after her on a personal level by using excerpts from her blog--to try and silence her conservative, Christian values. Totalitarian societies do this to smear and defame people that do not follow their agenda.

Shame, shame on the Inlander for this hideous, Stalin-era tactic! In the same issue they glorify illegal aliens who are here due to the President and his staff's open border policies!

Mrs. Haskell has a clear legal case of slander, public menacing, and invasion of privacy against Deanna Pan and this sad, sad publication!!

Re: “'All Lives Matter'

Obama and the Department of Homeland Security are complicit in this person's death.

By allowing open borders with free pass to illegal immigrants--this one spoke no English--they are complicit.

And the Inlander is truly a seditious, traitorous publication for cheering an illegal activity.

Shame on you.

I noted Larry Haskell's absence from the forum on Smart Justice held at Gonzaga late last year. Maybe his wife wouldn't let him come.
