Re: “Trail Mix - 9.6.12

From Mr. Senator Baumgartner´s facebook account:
""I think that Obama´s foreign policy has been almost a complete failure, which is why I´m all the more mystified and disappointed that Romney failed to mention the war in Afghanistan even once in his convention speech about why he deserves to be our President and Commander in Chief...sometimes you ought to just ignore the focus groups and "experts" and speak to the job you´re applying for...I have little doubt that Romney´s omission won´t be shamelessly exploited in Charlotte...I get that the big issues people care about right now are the economy and debt, but with 60,000 troops still fighting a war based on an unrealistic strategy of trying to force a democracy into the most remote and backwards country on earth, shouldn´t we be hearing more about this? Radical Islamic terrorists are not going away, they are a threat I guarantee you that the next President and Senate will be dealing with…who has better ideas and experience on how to do it?...what´s your opinion, am I wrong to criticize Romney on this?....""
Seems like that might be a good place to interact with him or you could call him before you do an article in which you don´t his stance on an issue.

Re: “Suffering through the 5th district congressional debate

Read the lawsuit here: http://marrharassment.com/Amendedsummons.pdf
Chris Marr should be ashamed. This woman either lied under oath, or her lawyers need to go before the bar for lying for her.
Nick you obviously didn´t read this lawsuit...shameful.

Re: “A 100-proof voter's guide

Its funny, Chris Marr creates a carve-out for ONE lucky business, while the rest of ´em can apparently live with the anti-business status quo of Marr and our state.
There is a reason the business associations like NFIB, which is made up of small businesses in Spokane and around Washington State rated Chris Marr a 47%. He´s does not support the majority of business in our state and community.
Its sad, but it´s exactly why we need a change.

Re: “Baumgartner releases radio ad pushing his Eastern Washington roots

Baumgartner has my vote! He has incredible credentials, grew up basically in the district (Pullman use to be part of the same district as the south hill) has lived in Spokane much of his life, served over seas with the State Department supports solid priorities for our state and is prepared to work with everyone to accomplish what needs to be done.

Michael Baumgartner, like the radio ad says, will bring New Leadership to Spokane! New Leadership we can count on!

Re: “Mad as Hell

WOW! The Tea Partiers have been corrupted from within. They have this Kirk Smith guy who voted for John Kerry and is now trying to convince people that Mr. Public Option, Chris Marr is right for Spokane??? If you didn´t like Bush, there were certainly other options to vote for in 2004. John Kerry never was one of those valid options.

I have gotten to know Michael Baumgartner and he is as grassroots as they come. He is a strong fiscal conservative, which is exactly what we need in Spokane. The guy has bi-partisan support coming from moderate Democrats to very very conservative Republicans. This isn´t a difficult choice. Even many Democrats want fiscal responsibility and fiscal conservatism in power right now. Apearantly not Kirk Smith thought.

I bet this Kirk Smith guy is also keeping from his listeners the fact that we can take Lisa Brown out of power with seven Republican State Senate Victories. Kirk Smith obviously wants her and the Democrats in power. Why?

Thanks to the Inlander for exposing this guy to anyone who might be listening to him in the Tea Party.

Re: “The GOP Offensive

Thank you Mr. Baumgartner! I noticed you didn´t give yourself a plug. So I would encourage everyone to visit www.baumgartnerforsenate.com or to search for your Facebook, to find out more about you.

I hope we can all move on from this and work together to make real changes in Olympia!
