Re: “The Emperor Revealed

"Pundits and partisans alike concluded that Mr. Obama delivered an aloof performance in the Denver debate, “detached” and “uninspiring.”
The President was probably just plain surprised to see a candidate actually change his entire platform - in a debate! Mitt Romney is untrustworthy, and will literally say anything necessary to get elected (obviously).
"high unemployment, a health care law still opposed by a majority of the public, a worsening, uncertain economy"
Old news. Unemployment is improving, the economy is improving and your Obamacare polls are just out of date.

"he couldn’t rebut charges that he looted Medicare to fund Obamacare"
Outright lie. Get your facts straight and/or produce evidence supporting this accusation. Probably check with Paul Ryan and the projected savings in Medicare are in his budget too.
"$90 billion for green energy projects,"

Why else wouldn’t he diligently work together with members of Congress between now and Jan. 1 to avoid the looming “fiscal cliff”
Um, he did Mr. Nethercutt. The President formed a bipartisan committee and then Paul Ryan blocked the recommendations. The fiscal cliff belongs to the Republicans.
Listen Mr. Nethercutt; if I can pick apart all of these smears in about 3 seconds, the entire Republican platform is a house of well used cards. In spite of the GOP strategy (create a problem, blame it on your enemy) the economy and entire country is slowly recovering. I know this is very disappointing for Republicans, but Mitt Romney is going to need something more than his new found love (more like discovery) of the middle class.

Re: “The Right Ratio

I don´t think anyone is against wealth, and Republicans love to try and turn the argument into an "attack on wealth". How about simply addressing the facts? The tax code has been stacked to favor the wealthy and to allow corporations to evade paying taxes. If your argument is "Democrats are rich too" I suggest you pay attention to the number of those very same people who feel the tax code is unfair and they need to PAY MORE IN TAXES. Without getting into the details, this country can not sustain itself with revenue at 14.5% vs. GDP. The number needs to be around 20%. Combine this historically low rate of money coming in combined with the last decade´s out of control spending and surprise, we are in debt. Why is this concept so difficult to accept? It is simple math. Taxes were cut too low, and we didn´t cut spending to match. I thought that all the "experts" and free market and how to run a business might recognize this rather simple concept.

Re: “Mad as Hell

Teabaggers, I think you are all batshit crazy. I can´t believe that elected officials are associating themselves with such a wacky group. The Inland Northwest makes national news.....and why? Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich. I would love to see some numbers on ow many of you baggers are collecting social security, unemployment, medicare or some other form of "communist" government support. I really doubt that 99% of you could explain what a Marxist is.
