Re: “The Inlander Responds To Complaints

Great job Inlander on misinforming the public once again. Take the time to read the rebutals from the Sheriff and the police Chief. Unlike your articles there are no smoke and mirrors here, no slight of hand work just to the point factual answers. All your articles drip with distain for the police which I have to wonder, just how many times has your staff been arrested? I guess the more you write and use words like "alleged" and "according to police" you will engrain your conspiracy theory into some, but not me. I have posted this before but it fits good here too so here it is again. As a proud American who is sick watching this great country crap on the people who actually care to do the right thing, I say go forth and clean up our streets regardless of what these liberals say. Thump some heads if you have to, be an advocate for the victims that can´t/won´t stand up for themselves. We all know the courts won´t do it.

I guess I am on the opposite end of the spectrum, I giggle every time I hear on the news that someone ran from the police and got Tased, or a car thief was taken to the hospital after being taken into custody. Criminals have to respect the law and know why they have to abide by it. Keep it up Inlander, and the vocal minority, crime is going to get way worse, and you will get exactly what you wanted all along, a toothless barking dog with a short leash, behind a tall fence. That should scare the criminals away.

We need good people to make their voices heard. So hear mine as loud as I can type,

"***!!! THANK YOU SPOKANE POLICE DEPARTMENT !!!***"

Re: “Breaking Blue Silence

Good job to the brave men and women of SPD; thank you for keeping my family and I safe while we sleep. It is quite obvious you do a thankless job day in and day out. Everything I read from this "alleged newspaper" and most of the comments from the readers make me wonder why you show up at all. If I had to put up with all this nonsense, I would say fine do it yourself. Oh but they can´t/won´t. Bob Apple is a "gutsy leader" as long as he is up on his elevated platform with exits on both sides. Who do they call when someone gets out of hand at the meetings? Yup thats right, SPD.

Ron_the_Cop, what is the best interest of the public? To berate the police department to the point that they show up, get paid and leave, without doing anything to combat crime? That is what is going on in Chicago as we speak. We need good people to make their voices heard. So hear mine as loud as I can type,

"***!!! THANK YOU SPOKANE POLICE DEPARTMENT !!!***"

Re: “Strong Arm of the Law

If she can´t breathe how did she say "I can´t breathe" 12 times? You want police brutality and injustice look at Atlanta and New Orleans. I have a great job, pay taxes and love living in Spokane and I thank our officers. We ask these men and women to do an absolute thankless job at risk of injury or death, then slam them every chance this paper and the others like it get. Maybe these investigations do not go anywhere because there is nothing there...but of course you would never consider that. You blatantly spin every story to fit into your conspiracy theory and label it another case of the rogue Spokane Police Department. However, reading your story, more than half of it was refering to the Spokane Sheriff´s Department and their employees. Thats like blaming Comcast for a Dish Network problem. All I ask is to report the truth from both sides, or better yet, please don´t write at all.
