“I was running Bloomsday before Chris Marr set foot in the state,” he says.
I guess I´m a little confused. If Mike is 34 and Chris has lived in Washington for 33 years with the last 26 in Spokane, does that mean that Mike started to run when he was barely a year old??
Let us set the record straight. Mike registered to vote in Spokane on January of this year. He has never voted in Spokane and the last time he voted in Washington was in 2008. (Check the public records it only takes a call).
Chris has been heavily involved in developing and growing Spokane and its economy for well over a decade now. He helped to save health care in Spokane, which is around 25% of our economy, and created and saved jobs over the past decade when the rest of the state and country were failing.
Mike may have been to Iraq, but Mike has done nothing for Spokane.
-“It’s where I shop. … It’s the airport I fly out of. It’s where I tell people I’m from” when overseas, he says. “I always intended to come back.”-
-On top of that, Fackler says, Baumgartner’s relative inexperience in Spokane allows him a “nice fresh look at things.”-
Are you kidding me? This guy works for the State Department to eradicate terrorists yet thinks he can get the trust of the people without even knowing them?? Get the out of our town. This isn´t Afghanistan or Iraq this is the United States of America!
