Just another example of all politicians being the same. Of course, when running for office David Condon claims to represent us (the citizens) against the corrupt establishment. But now, Lo and Behold, the tables have turned! This wasn´t just supposed to be about the Otto Zehm (may he rest in peace) case, but something bigger, the fact that by aggressively defending and countersueing anyone with a case against the city, the city is not accepting responsibility for their mistakes. That´s what its supposed to be about. That´s what the citizens want. We want to see change so that these things don´t continue to happen. What is the incentive for that if you´re never held responsible for your actions. They want to argue that they´ve saved the citizens a bunch of money. But really they should have to explain to the citizens why their mistakes keep costing so much. And therefore by having to answer to us, face accountability. But it´s not the citizens who should be having to pay anyway. It should come directly from the corrupt city leaders pensions as penalty for doing the wrong thing time and time again.
This is the same color scheme Mr. Apple has always used. It is simple and tasteful and I find it refreshing especially when you compare his signs to those gaudy and shameless billboard size signs you see literally everywhere promoting Al French. The Al French signs are a severe eyesore. All 6,437,829 of them on every block on every arterial in and around Spokane. But I guess the French are internationally known for their arrogance and Al is no exception. Bob Apple on the other hand incorporating an apple in his signs to signify his love for Spokane is not at all offensive, especially since anyone who knows him knows he is truly a peach of a guy.
