Re: “Why is the Spokesman-Review so in love with horses?

Geez I never knew so many horse enthusiasts read the morning brief at the Inlander. To all the commentors above, reread the article. It has less to do with horses than your specific circumstances would lead you to believe. To me, a person whose opinion is not tainited by a love of horse or compassionate care, the article is about journalism. It is about the appropriate time to recycle storie ideas and horses are just the example in this case.
And as far as Jacob Fries needing to be edited or "seriously examined" before he posts again? Mr. Fries is the managing editor and has the fianly say of what gets posted or not. You don´t like it? Go read the Spokesman.

Re: “Eat Like a Caveman

Nice to see an article about the Paleo lifestyle. While I am still new to paleo, I am very pleased with the results. I started out as a 5´10´´ male who weighed 224 lbs. Approximately 1 month later I am down to 200 lbs. I have not changed my activity level at all yet the pounds continue to melt off. I feel much better as well. I do allow myself one day a week where I will eat breads or sugars but other than that I have been strict.
I will continue to practice paleo because honestly, who doesn´t love 4 eggs scrambled with a whole zuchinni and 5 pieces of bacon for breakfast? Especially when it is causing weight loss.

Re: “MORNING HEADLINES: Obama releases birth certificate; Steele trial to begin

I hope the required helmet ordinance does not get passed. As a full time helmet-wearing cyclist I am well aware of the risks of riding a bicycle and while I support a requirement for persons under the age of 18 to wear a helmet, I think adults should be able to make up their own mind as to whether or not they want to wear a helmet. Mandatory helmet use is so selectively enforced as it is that it is just a waste of time for legislators to even bother with making it county wide.

Re: “Welcome to the Rileys

Jesus man that was rude. I´m sure you´ve never turned in a paper with a typo. Also, since that review was such trip and clearly you got the skills to back it up, why don´ you start writing locally? Oh yeah, cuz you´d rather just complain about a free publication anonymously on the internet.
