I find it curious that such a questionable politician ( remember his "self-imposed" promise of term limits ) is so selective in his crafting of these sermons from the mount of hypocrisy.
Could it be, Mr. Nethercutt, that your cynical lust for power and dishonest public record is exactly the contributing factor that has lead to this crisis of apathy?
And that most of us are onto a timeless truth-- that those who most often feel the need to preach their values tend to be the same ones who don't practice those values in their personal lives?
I'd even offer that those in denim built this region and those in suits have attempted to ruin it. And you'd be right to assume I don't own a tie.
You´ve got to be kidding me, I mean really George, sure you´ve joked with us before and we sort of got it. Especially that bit about term limits for one---that was a riot. Funny man, you. But this time, are you serious? Or is this a humor piece? A parody, maybe?"George W. Bush set forth unwavering American principles of freedom..."? And what would those be exactly? Freedom to out CIA agents? Freedom to come up with trite little-boy responses to confront big world issues? "Evil Doers, Security Color Codes, Defense of Marriage, Torture and secret renditions to justify our still non existent "homeland security"? Undermining the middle class at home in favor of corporate exploitation of workers abroad? Defying the will of congress to force Mexican Trucks on US and Canadian Highways? Letting China violate our intellectual property, undermine our currency, and walk all over human rights safeguards? That line about George Bush setting forth unwavering American principles of Freedom, that was a joke right?
