Re: “Decent Exposure

Sunburned the old ´love´ appendage. Dang, that has so got to hurt.

Re: “Crushing Politics

McMorris Rodgers makes with the nice blah blah blah. Our Lady of the House Republican Conference cares only about, well, Our Lady of the House Republican Conference. There´ll be no compromise on McMorris Rodgers´ part and there´ll be NO work being done for the American people.
Lemme see here, what did Our Lady say? Oh yeah, “I believe the country would be better served with a different president.”
Maybe so but, that´s an issue for 2012. America´s economy is tanking at present. What has McMorris Rodgers done for Spokane and America of late? Uncompromising idiocy and she delights as ´we the people´ take the hit for her intransigence. I mean, she´s got a pretty cushy job at present.
Hmmm, maybe Our Lady of the HRC might want to remember that 2012 conjecture. Oh Cathy? Can you say stand for re-election?

Re: “Ready, Set, Punt!

Ted, you make an excellent point. Why are we paying a Congress? Mercy, if that isn´t about the easiest job on the Planet. Congressperson. Very little work, great benefits, cush retirement, not-too-bad income, and NO accountability. To anyone.
America´s current incarnation of a "Congress" is woefully unAmerican. Republicons AND Democraps. It is a given the Congress always puts themselves ahead of ´we the people´. I understand that. Leaves me just a mite put off.
Of course if America were to ditch "our" Congresspersons, well, McMorris Rodgers would have to get a real job and at this stage in her life, is she up to the task of finding work? Cause decent paying full time jobs are about as scarce as hen´s teeth. These days anyway.

Re: “Booster Gone Sterling

McMorris Rodgers likes the sound of her own voice. Evidently, McMorris Rodgers has forgotten that Republicons control the House. So for McMorris Rodgers to whine about Democraps having a "spending agenda" well, McMorris Rodgers was unequivocal as she cast her vote FOR that $650 billion dollar Defense authorization ala Defense Authoriztion 2012.
That obscenely padded slice of largesse is well on the ugly side of half a trillion dollars.
Seems that McMorris Rodgers is a shade less than forthcoming about "excessive government spending."
Gosh Cathy, are you ´saving´ any tax money for the good people of Spokane?

Re: “Anderson's Coup

Mr. Ted? Anderson Cooper? Journalism? Really? Cooper may be any number of things like oh say, CIA or pompous ass but, journalist? No he´s not. Cooper is a poser and media shill.
I agree with your point that "America needs the truth, not a bunch of hot air." America will NEVER get anything close to truth from CNN and/or Anderson Cooper.

Re: “Purity on the March

"Pragmatic conservatism." Novel notion. Babylon-On-The-Potomac (that´d be Washington D.C.) is a vast rotting swamp of corruption and servility. Our Imperial Senators and Lords Ruling o´er us are above ´we the people´. Our imperious rules are NOT listening and they really seem to not care a whit. Of course, that pithy observation would to include our "elected representatives" in the House. You know, House of Reprehensibles and not a house of ill-repute.
The ´two-party" system has failed. Failed the American people. The Republicans are leaderless and the Democraps are simply lost. America is quagmired in about three more wars than might be necessary. Ten grindingly long years our nation has stumbled hither and yon, lashing out like the punch drunk pugilist that is way passed prime. Racking up national debt that is staggeringly difficult to comprehend. I mean, how many zeroes are in a gazillion?
These are darkly dangerous times we are struggling to live through and the danger lies not with some al-Qaeda types. Heck, the danger lives in our very own Congress. Well, and the White House.

1889. Got you beat Ted. I´m still standing. Ummm, Ted? Is Saltas showing signs of early onset dementia?
