I would be curious to know how many of the parents who opted out of "one or more" vaccinations were only declining the chickenpox one. It does seem that more and more immunizations are thrust onto our society as being important or required. Some common childhood illnesses, like chicken pox, don´t have dire consequences when contracted. I think part of the reason that people hesitate to vaccinate to prevent this type of illness is that there is evidence that vaccination with foreign proteins and the various adjuvants causes adverse effects on the body-- it is not just a matter of preventing an illness, but a question of what is better for a person´s overall health.
