Well of course employers shouldn't (and are already barred from) discrimination based on gender, gender identity, race, ethnicity, familial status, and religion. I am curious what "other categories" means to Envision Spokane. May employers discriminate (in the sense of choosing between) based on education, experience, employment history, references, skills, talent and ability to perform the work satisfactorily, or are those included under "other categories?"
"Even his supporters find little positive to say about him other than that he isn’t Barack Obama."Mr. Herold, there are many supporters of Mitt Romney for President with much to say that is positive. Mitt Romney understands the time has come to face up to the promises we´ve been making and the debt we are incurring. If we do not make changes now, we will all go over the fiscal cliff together. This was a key positive value for his campaign before his vice presidential pick, and has been reinforced by selecting the most prominent budget wonk in the US Congress, Paul Ryan, as his running mate.Mitt Romney understands what it means to be an entrepreneur. He would never speak dismissively of the effort and risk taking required to build a business, either as part of a scripted speech or an off the cuff remark, because he´s been there and done that.Mitt Romney is a man who likes the challenge of turning around a business, or an Olympics or a government that is in financial trouble, and has done it successfully. He understands this election isn´t about social issues, no matter how much the Democrats might want to twist his words or some Republicans wish to draw the emphasis. The immediate challenge is economic. If we do not face and fix our economic problems together, nothing else will matter. You may not agree these are positives, but you cannot deny that Mitt Romney´s supporters have positive things to say unless you limit your reading and listening to sources that agree with your preconceived conclusions.
