Re: “Captive Audience

Normal, the council is elected. They do represent the views of the community, it is you who do not.

Re: “Manufacturing Fear

This is the most important piece I have ever read in the Inlander. There is a bright, direct line between the over-the-top rhetoric of people like Shea (and some of the commenters here) and sometimes deadly right-wing terrorism that takes place in the inland northwest. Shaun Vestal had a great piece in the Spokesman a few months back making similar points.

Re: “The Contenders

"Ben Krauss, an analyst with the city who said he's running because of Fagan's views on pay differences between men and women working in city government."

I hate to ask...but what are Fagan's views on this matter?

Re: “Washington Policy Center anything but non-partisan on Spokane trolley line

Mark, this piece is not about the trolley, it is about the Washington Policy Foundation--and how that right-wing think tank misrepresents itself. It seems pretty clear to me.
