I appreciate your view John, but the GOP has been the anti-LGBT pro-WASP party for the past decade now, I'm not sure that any greenies, Hispanics, Blacks, atheists, Muslims, gays, or other groups would be willing to flock to the party even if their message is a good one. As far as I can see the problem isn't whether the GOP is viable or whether they can stay on point -- it's whether they can regain the trust of so many groups they've stomped on in the name of anti-regulation (i.e. freedom to disenfranchise with impunity), god and guns. I also offer the point that minorities are now becoming the majorities as the demographic composition changes in the United States.
