The bag wasn't "special" enough to keep a two year old child from opening it.
Eh, it's just Spokane, okay?
The few times I've actually witnessed people harassing others and gone looking for a "security guard" I found both of them upstairs chatting with each other! What good does it do to have security if they're worthless and powerless? Get a couple of Spokane's finest down there to patrol the sidewalks and I can bet there would be fewer drunks and robberies happening. Incidences occur because there is no supervision, no police protection and no repercussions. I don't feel safe at the Plaza whether it's broad daylight or 10 p.m. I've been hustled, verbally abused and threatened. That's why I got a car, so I don't have to put up with a daily dose of street life and low life in my face while I'm just trying to get to work or home.
I sure hope part of the improvements will mean moving the bathrooms to the main floor so you don't have to choose between catching your bus or peeing your pants.
