Actually, this is how news is supposed to work. The Sheriff´s spokesman says something fundamentally stupid, then we make fun of him when it´s revealed that he jumped the gun.

Good on him for admitting the mistake, but perhaps now he´ll give people the same respect he´s asking for with regards to the other officers. Aug 31, 2010
