You write a piece on a guy who lied in print and you don´t even check you own work. Perfect! 1. As I am writing this the Krakauer piece IS available for free. It was free until the 20th which is today. Starting tomorrow it will cost money. But the first three days it was free. 2. Nowhere in the BBC piece does it say the authors checked out the schools. They merely contacted people in the area. 60 Minutes actually went to the locations that were listed on the web-site and filmed their evidence. 3. Of course Crocker is going to continue to back Mortenson. State, the Obama Administration and the military are all in bed with the guy. They have to back him. Heck, they still back Karzai.
