RE: Tips

Posted by Brett at 04:33 PM on Sat, Jun. 16, 2012

Jeers to my two-cents on tips. First and foremost, the suggested tip
percentage for excellent service is 20. Secondly, you clearly have never
held a position in the service industry. I am more than inclined to inform
you that most, if not all, service employees would be appalled and
disgusted by your moronic jeer. If you possessed the slightest inclination
of just how hard we worked, maybe you would open that squeaky wallet of
yours and give a decent tip. In addition, the $1.83 matters quite a bit
when you multiply it by the number of ignorant semantic blockages, like
yourself, that deduct it from our total tips. Last, but certainly not
least, you, my friend, are the special kind of idiot that does not seem to
understand that most employees in this field make minimum wage or less. So
please take that into consideration next time you open that revolting
orifice under your nose when it's not to ingest something brought to you by
an over-worked and under-paid server. Sincerely, One Lowly Server

people always complaining about tipping, not getting good tips. Well be a better server and you will get them, pay attention to your tables no matter how many you have. I have this server the other day made sure the table behind us was all good but walked passed us like we didn´t matter. Glasses were empty food was gone and plates just sat there for a good 10 min. but she continuously helped the people behind us, we almost walked out but instead she only got a 2.00 tip . As myself being a waitress once i made sure I worked my A*$ off for my tips and it paid off! Jun 22, 2012 | Reply to this comment
