The men -- Tyler Gassman (pictured), Paul Statler and Robert Larson -- were featured in a 2010 Inlander report titled "Reasonable Doubt," which outlined a series of issues with the police investigation. Notably, the only evidence against the three was the testimony of a jailhouse snitch, who received a light sentence in exchange for his testimony.

Its about time. You only have to hear this story once to recognize the injustice. Im so happy for Tyler to have his freedom back. Another SPD tainted investigation n waste of taxpayer $ by charging 3 innocent men with this crime all for the word of a jail house snitch. Thank you to the Inlander for bringing attention to this story and most of all the inocence Project Northwest. Dec 14, 2012 | Reply to this comment
