Last August, we wrote about a small production company shooting a film in Cheney. The semi-autobiographical movie, about a woman dealing with body issues while considering whether to attend her 10-year high school reunion, was the brainchild of husband-and-wife team Kris and Lindy Boustedt, both Eastern grads (Lindy also went to high school in Colville). We noted that when they finished, they planned to shop the movie around to film festivals, including the well-respected Seattle International Film Festival.
They've done it. Perfect 10 makes its grand debut tonight at SIFF Cinema. Here's to hoping it'll screen back on the east side soon.
