That’s why this worldwide event — dubbed the largest learning event in the world’s history — seeks to educate all ages from all backgrounds about computer coding. Spokane’s Hour of Code event, organized by local creative arts hubs Laboratory and Ink Spokane, is one of a staggering 70,641 events around the world during the weeklong movement, Dec. 8-14. Three workshops are offered, for beginning, intermediate and advanced coders.
