Margaret Cho

Margaret Cho is a woman of many talents. She acts, she makes music, she’s a noisy political activist and, above all else, she’s funny as hell. Her comedy is informed by growing up in the Bay Area during the late ’60s and early ’70s, as well as being the all-American daughter of Korean parents. She mines everything from sexuality to family life to politics in her stand-up routine, and you can expect plenty of jokes at the expense of the White House’s current resident. Cho’s most recent album, American Myth, earned her a Grammy nomination for Best Comedy Album; you can bet she’ll have plenty of new material to work with for this show.
