Black's Po is (accidentally) chosen to become the powerful Dragon Warrior, just as the vicious leopard Tai Lung (Ian McShane) escapes from prison with the idea of grabbing that title for himself. Lots of action and laughs, and plenty of heart. (ES) Rated PG





SON OF RAMBOW


A huge hit at Sundance, Son of Rambow is the story of a young aspiring filmmaker from a puritanical household who finds the holy grail of forbidden treasures: a pirated copy of Rambo: First Blood, leading him to to create his own sequel of sorts, Son of Rambow. There's the puritanical parents to deal with, of course, but also friction from his partner in filmmaking when the hip French kid from school wants to be in the movie and all the cool kids follow. YOU DON'T MESS WITH THE ZOHAN


In one of the more promising Adam Sandler turns this decade, he plays a former Israeli counter-intelligence operative who comes to America to be a hairdresser and look for love. He's recognized by Arab terrorists, though, and has to kick some ass. (LB) Rated PG-13
