by INLANDER STAFF & r & & r & THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: PRINCE CASPIAN & r & & r & The four Pevensie siblings are again magically whisked off to the fantasy world of Narnia, where they must work with the fantastical Narnians (talking badgers, sword-fighting mice, etc.) and against the nasty Telmarines, all the while joining forces with the one good Telmarine, Caspian, who is the rightful king to be. Epic battles are fought on expansive fields, and though a body count grows, most of the carnage is done off-camera. Our young heroes are brave, and they look great in front of and within set and costume design that'll surely be Oscar nominated. A solid follow-up to the first film in the C.S. Lewis series. The new one is smart and funny and action-packed, and it’s bigger and better and sleeker. And Downey does it again, this time ramping up Stark’s arrogant wisecracking, telling anyone who’ll listen (mostly women) that, via the creation of his powerful Iron Man suit, he’s brought years of uninterrupted peace to the world.
