Opera CdA: Die Fledermaus

Everyone from the most die-hard opera fanatics to those who just want to get their feet wet should consider Opera Coeur d’Alene’s upcoming event, Opera on the Lake. This unique production features a performance of Johann Strauss’ legendary 1874 operatic romantic drama Die Fledermaus (in English, The Bat). A group of Coeur d’Alene’s best-known stage performers will entertain viewers onboard a cruise on scenic Lake Coeur d’Alene, while wine and food is served. Few classier ways exist to spend a summer evening.
