Sandpoint Winter Carnival

Proclaimed as a “sure antidote to cabin fever,” the Sandpoint Winter Carnival is back, for the 42nd time, to keep the winter season exciting. The 12-day festival is jam-packed with a handful of brand-new events alongside a slew of old favorites. From numerous ski, snowboard and sled races to the Parade of Lights and the “Chocolate Extravaganza” fundraiser, it’s nearly impossible not to find a good time on at least one of the days. There are more parties, bonfires and dinner shows to attend than a person can count on both hands, and everyone will want to hit up Winter Bites (formerly Taste of Sandpoint) for affordable, fun-sized portions of Sandpoint’s best cuisine.
