Solitaire by Dalia Basiouny

Egyptian journalist, playwright, director, actor, and activist Dalia Basiouny performs her solo piece about an Arab-American woman and her political identity between 9/11 and the Egyptian Revolution. Basiouny’s work as a journalist during the revolution was the main source of information for the Huffington Post. Her work as a theatre artist has gained international attention and Solitaire has been performed in Cairo, Iraq, Morocco, Zimbabwe, Germany and the U.S. Presented by the University of Idaho Theatre Arts department.
