We’ve all had awful birthdays. Cindy is having the worst, and she’s still singing about it in Suds. This musical begins at a laundromat and is loaded with good clean fun (laundry pun!) and some of the greatest pop hits from the ’60s: “Please Mr. Postman,” “Respect” and “You Can’t Hurry Love” to name a few. It tells the story of a young woman and the guardian angels who teach her a few things about finding true love. If you’re a sucker for nostalgia and a old-timey feel, Suds won’t disappoint: you’ll be remembering first kisses, last dances and finding love for the first time.
